Care for your Cabinets, Laminates, and Corian
Cabinet Care
Your cabinets have been finished with a coating that will provide years of protection against damage.
To maintain a fresh new appearance, periodically wipe finished surfaces with a soft cotton cloth dampened with a mild solution of water and dish-washing soap and wipe dry with a clean, cotton cloth. Do not use any abrasive products, bleach, ammonia, and/or solvent-based cleaners. Waxes and polishes are not recommended. Water spills inside cabinetry should be wiped dry immediately.
Laminate Countertops
Avoid sliding heavy or rough objects along the surface of your laminate countertop as they will scratch and chip.
Hot objects such as pots, pans or heat generating appliances should not be placed directly on laminated surfaces.
To clean laminate countertops, use a mild detergent and water solution applied with a sponge or soft clean cloth. For difficult stains, use a stronger detergent solution and a soft-bristled brush. If stains persist, use a paste made from baking soda and water, gently scrubbing with a soft-bristled brush.
Abrasive cleaners and/or scouring pads should not be used.
Corian Care
Soapy water or an ammonia-based cleaner will clean most dirt and residue.
Keep the surface dry after cleaning to avoid water marks.
Occasionally disinfect with 1:100 diluted bleach.
